The 2012 Breeders’ Cup is set to explode this year at Santa Anita Park in Los Angeles, California on November 2nd and 3rd. So we thought at 3 months out it may be a good time to remind you all to plan your trips and also start paying attention to some of the superstars race horses it may pay to follow come race day.
Breeders Cup has a unique “Win and you’re In” racing program that has 73 qualifying races spanning 10 countries, each of the 15 Breeders’ Cup divisions have Challenge races. And a win gets you more than just an invitation. The Breeders’ Cup pays entry fees and provides travel allowances for the connections of the Challenge winners if they are nominated to the Breeders’ Cup program by October 22nd. Last year, 35 winners of Breeders’ Cup Challenge races participated in the World Championships, and there were 6 automatic berths for the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic.
Below is a link to the schedule you can follow which includes those winners who’ve already booked their tickets to the worlds richest 2 day carnival. Horses who are already proven superstars like Shackleford, Royal Delta and Game On Dude. There is also Video replays of some of the runs so you can access each horse and its potential.

With 52 races still to be completed, there are plenty of spots up for grabs and it will pay to watch these races to learn exactly what sort of talent will be on display at Santa Anita this year.
With this years theme being “The best IS YET to come” it promises to be a fantastic event both on and off the track, with a ‘Fascinators and Fedoras’ competition to provide attendees the opportunity to showcase their fabulous headwear on the day. Fashion at the Races will be in attendance to document this inititative and all the fashion and style that the event will bring out. The weather should be perfect and the celebrities should be aplenty, the last time Santa Anita hosted the event it was attended by such celebrities like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kurt Russell, Kobe Bryant, and all those Housewives of Orange County as well as Celebrity Chef (and Racehorse Owner) Bobby Flay. We suggest that you book your tickets early and find yourself some fantastic accommodation.
